Summary
Sortlo does not require an account and the developer does not collect, store or sell your personal data. Your game progress, hint balance and settings are stored only on your device. The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob; Google may process device data as described below.
Data stored on your device
Current level, number of completed levels, hints, the haptics setting and whether you purchased “Remove Ads”. This data never leaves your device through us. Deleting the app deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Sortlo uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show rewarded and interstitial ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier, IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, ad interaction data, and crash/diagnostic data related to ads. - Tracking permission (iOS App Tracking Transparency): we ask before any tracking. If you decline, ads are non-personalised and the IDFA is not shared.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: a Google consent form lets you accept or reject personalised ads. You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.
- US state privacy laws: where applicable, you can opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information through the same privacy choices.
In-app purchases
Purchases (“Remove Ads”, hint packs) are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details; we only receive Apple’s confirmation that a purchase is valid.
Children
Sortlo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we don’t hold your personal data, requests about ad data should be directed to Google via its privacy tools. You can reset your Advertising Identifier or disable tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Contact us with any question and we will help.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly.
